Microchip Technology EV39W84A – LX34070 90 Degree Rotary Kit includes LX34070 evaluation board, an IPCE programmer, links to the IPCE software, and applicable cables. The LX34070 EVB has LX34070 IC and passive components installed with a connector and cable for interfacing to the IPCE programmer. The programmer enables a simple interface between the evaluation board and the laptop. The IPCE software together and programmer together allow instant data capturing and simplifies the calibration of the IC to the sensor.
The inductive position sensor is first programmed with the sensor PCB. Every sensor PCB includes an LX34070 IC and passive components already installed, also a connector and cable for interfacing to the IPCE programmer. This application is then supplied with power to get the readings.
The IPCE Programmer enables easy communication between the evaluation board and the laptop. It is supported by the Integrated Programming and Calibration Environment (IPCE) GUI, which allows data capturing, measuring, and auto-calibration of the device. This programmer has features like simplified sensor system calibration and testing, it programs EEPROM and supports stand-alone TCP/IP addressable software for production.
The IPEC software functions with the programmer to allow data capturing either by manually clicking on the capture data button, or automatically through TCP/IP protocol. Using the Save Datalog button, the data captured can easily be saved into an excel file or transferred to the analysis tab for further analysis. The IPCE software will ease the calibration of the IC to the sensor.
