Texas Instruments DRV8316R-Q1EVM Motor Driver Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments DRV8316R-Q1EVM Motor Driver Evaluation Module (EVM) is to help with the evaluation of the DRV8316-Q1. The DRV8316-Q1 is an automotive three half-H-bridge integrated MOSFET driver for driving a three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor with 8A Peak current drive for 12V/24V DC rails or battery-powered applications. The device integrates three current-sense amplifiers (CSA) with an integrated current sensor for sensing the three-phase currents of BLDC motors to achieve optimum FOC and current-control system implementation. The launchpad connection allows for a personal firmware development platform for the Texas Instruments DRV8316-Q1. This module includes the C2000 Launchpad, LAUNCHXL-F280049C, which is used to interface with the DRV8316REVM_InstaSPIN_Universal_GUI.

Features

  • 4.5V to 35V operation with 8A peak current drive
  • Integrated buck regulator which can support 200mA with a programmable regulated supply
  • Integrated CSAs for three-phase low-side current measurement
  • C2000 (LAUNCHXL-F280049C) InstaSPIN GUI Compatibility
