STMicroelectronics EVLONE65W USB Type-C™ Power Delivery Board

STMicroelectronics EVLONE65W USB Type-C™ Power Delivery Board is a reference design for a high-density, high-power 65W USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) circuit supporting Programmable Power Supply (PPS). The EVLONE65W reference Power Delivery Board is based on the ST-ONE Digital Controller. The ST-ONE combines an Arm® Cortex®- M0+ Core, an offline programmable controller with synchronous rectification, and a USB PD PHY into a single integrated package.

The STMicroelectronics EVLONE65W Power Delivery Board features a pre-installed ST-ONE Digital Controller in an SSOP36 package. Also on the Board is a MasterGaN Power System-in-Package (SiP), which integrates a gate driver and two enhancement-mode GaN power transistors.

The high switching operation of the ST-ONE, implemented along the MasterGaN power stage, allows the use of small magnetic components while reaching a very high efficiency.
