Paired with global cellular connectivity courtesy of Soracom SIMs, this powerful modem can connect a smart device wherever it is deployed.

The Soracom Onyx features a Quectel® EG25-G LTE-M Cat. 4 modules for global 4G/LTE-M, 3G, and 2G cellular connectivity and a Soracom 3-in-1 industrial-grade SIM card that offers worldwide connectivity and monthly pay-as-you-go pricing (plan01s). Soracom’s free online user console allows participants to start, pause, and stop service as needed.

The Soracom Onyx LTE-M USB cellular modem can be installed on various devices through a USB port and driver support for Windows and Linux to add global cellular data connectivity easily. The device incorporates built-in antennas for easy installation without extra wires or accessories and also delivers two external CRC9 antenna connectors to permit custom antenna configurations. Additionally, Onyx supports built-in application protocols such as TCP, UDP, PPP, FTP, HTTP, and MQTT, enabling devices to integrate into various system architectures and cloud services quickly without requiring custom code.
