Infineon Technologies EVAL-1ED3142MU12F-SIC Evaluation Board

Infineon Technologies EVAL-1ED3142MU12F-SIC Evaluation Board is designed to evaluate the functionality and capability of 1ED3142MU12F gate driver ICs. This evaluation board comes pre-populated with two IMZA120R020M1H CoolSiC™ MOSFET. The EVAL-1ED3142MU12F-SIC board uses an additional gate driver IC for isolated over-current feedback signal from the high voltage side to the logic control side. This evaluation board also uses a fast operational amplifier as a comparator for over-current detection. The 1ED3142MU12F offers separate sink and source output, active shutdown, and accurate and stable timing. This ensures a safe power transistor off-state in case the output chip is not connected to a power source and short-circuit clamping to limit the gate voltage during a short circuit. Typical applications include EV charging, server power supply, solutions for photovoltaic energy systems, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
