NXP Semiconductors MCTPTX1AK324 Reference Design Board

NXP Semiconductors MCTPTX1AK324 Reference Design Board is based on the 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 S32K3 microcontroller and the GD3000 pre-driver. This MCTPTX1AK324 reference design board is engineered for out-of-the-box automotive multi Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). The design board controls one Direct Current (DC) motor, three sensorless-based PMSMs, and four valves under low CPU loading. The MCTPTX1AK324 reference design board features one-way CAN, one-way LIN, and dual-core operation mode to reduce CPU load. This design board operates at 12V supply voltage. This MCTPTX1AK324 reference design board is ideally used in electric pumps, Brushless DC Motor Control (BLDC), and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV).

Features

  • Supports up to three PMS motors with sensorless Field Oriented Control (FOC)
  • Up to 100W power for each PMSM
  • Up to 20W power for DC motors
  • Up to 5A peak current for high-side switch
  • One-way CAN and one-way LIN
  • Dual-core operation mode to reduce CPU load
  • ISO 26262 support
  • 12V operating supply voltage

Applications

  • Electric pumps
  • Brushless DC Motor Control (BLDC)
  • Electric powertrain
  • Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV)
  • Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM)
