Texas Instruments TPSI2072Q1EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TPSI2072Q1EVM Evaluation Module is a six-copper layer board with multiple test points and jumpers to evaluate the functionality of the TPSI2072-Q1 fully. The TPSI2072-Q1 is a dual-channel isolated solid-state relay designed for high-voltage automotive and industrial applications such as battery management systems, EV/HEV onboard chargers, mechanical relay replacement, and DC link pre-charging. The primary side of the TPSI2072Q1EVM comprises four differential drivers, which produce power and enable logic information to each of the internal MOSFETs on the secondary side. Each MOSFET on the secondary side has a true full-bridge rectifier to form its local power supply.

Features

  • Test points are available for every pin and voltage supply to ensure correct functionality
  • Can be run with an external waveform generator or tested with a single power source if the user ties VDD and enable it together with provided jumper
  • Qualified for automotive applications AEC-Q100
  • Integrated avalanche-rated MOSFETs with 1400V standoff voltage
  • Low primary side supply current, 5mA ON state, 1uA OFF state

Applications

  • Solid state relay
  • Hybrid, electric, and power train systems
  • Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
  • Solar energy
  • Onboard charger
  • EV Charging infrastructure
