Quectel LC79D Dual-Band Multi-Constellation GNSS Module

Quectel LC79D Dual-Band Multi-Constellation GNSS Module is ultra-compact, measuring 10.1mm × 9.7mm × 2.4mm. The module features a concurrent multi-constellation GNSS receiver on dual GNSS bands. The module supports L1 and L5, for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS , BeiDou IRNSS and QZSS. This increases the number of satellites which can be involved in tracking and positioning, thereby significantly reducing the multipath effect from tall buildings in dense urban environments, reducing signal acquisition time, and improving positioning accuracy. In addition to this, the module’s onboard LNAs and SAW filters serve to ensure better positioning in weak signal areas and harsh environments.
