STMicroelectronics P-NUCLEO-53L4A3 Evaluation Kit

STMicroelectronics P-NUCLEO-53L4A3 Evaluation Kit is used for learning, evaluating, and developing applications using the VL53L4ED Time-of-Flight sensor. The STMicroelectronics P-NUCLEO-53L4A3 kit is ideal for extended-range measurements and is designed for long-range, multitarget measurements. The VL53L4ED Time-of-Flight sensor offers accurate distance measurements up to six meters, with improved performance in ambient light. The sensor has a laser emitter with an 18° Field of View (FoV). Using ST patented algorithms and innovative module construction, the VL53L4ED can detect multiple objects within the FoV with depth understanding.

ST histogram algorithms cover glass crosstalk immunity beyond 80cm and dynamic smudge compensation for targets below 80cm. Like all Time-of-Flight sensors based on ST FlightSense technology, the VL53L4ED provides absolute distance measurement regardless of color and reflectance.
