CML Micro CMX90G302 Positive Gain-Slope Amplifiers have a 1.4GHz to 7.1GHz frequency range suitable for various wireless applications. The CMX90G302 low-power 50Ω cascadable MMIC gain block has a positive gain slope of +2dB across the band, eliminating the necessity for equalization and compensating for increasing system losses with frequency.
The CML CMX90G302 is highly integrated for ease of use, minimizing component count and board area. RF ports are matched on-chip to 50Ω with DC blocking capacitors. An active bias circuit authorizes the device to operate over a wide supply voltage of 2.7V to 5V with a typical current of 20mA. The amps use a GaAs pHEMT to supply a combination of low DC power, low noise, and high gain.
An alternative part, CMX90G301, is obtainable for applications that require less gain-slope compensation.
