Allegro MicroSystems 1D Factory Programmed Linear Sensor ICs are contactless, simple-to-use devices that accurately measure the position of an object. The 1D Factory Programmed Linear Sensor ICs are ideal for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.

The 1D Linear Sensor ICs are ISO 26262 certified and suitable in ADAS applications – especially in steering systems for semi-autonomous cars. These EEPROM programmable ICs deliver high-precision position measurement, fast shared SENT output protocol, and unparalleled levels of system diagnostics.

The Allegro A1308 and A1309 linear Hall-effect sensor ICs have been designed specifically for displacement and angular position applications that require higher accuracy and smaller package sizes. The A1308 and A1309 temperature-stable devices are offered in both surface-mount and through-hole packages. Nonvolatile memory is featured in each device to optimize sensitivity and the quiescent voltage output for a given
application or circuit. The devices operate across an extended temperature range of –40°C to 150°C (SOT-23W and SIP -L temperature range) or
–40°C to 125°C (SIP -K temperature range).
